By accessing or using the TwoHeads decision analysis platform ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

TwoHeads is an expected-value decision analysis tool. You describe a decision in plain language; the Service uses artificial intelligence (the Anthropic Claude API) to extract decision branches, suggest probability estimates, and calculate expected value across outcomes.

The Service is provided as a general-purpose structured thinking aid. It is not a substitute for professional financial, legal, medical, or other specialist advice.

All analyses produced by the Service are generated by a large language model (Claude, by Anthropic). Probability estimates, outcome scores, and recommendations are AI-generated and reflect the model's reasoning — not actuarial calculations, licensed financial advice, or empirical research.

You accept that AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. You are solely responsible for how you use any analysis produced by the Service. Do not treat output as professional advice for consequential decisions without independent verification.

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) submit content that is abusive, defamatory, fraudulent, or that violates any third party's rights; (c) attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures; (d) use automated tools to submit analyses at scale; (e) resell or sublicense access to the Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms without notice.

When you submit a decision for analysis, the text of your description is transmitted to Anthropic's API to generate the response. We do not store this text on our servers beyond the duration of the API request.

Scenario history and saved analyses are stored in your browser's localStorage. We do not have access to this data. Clearing your browser storage will permanently delete it.

We collect your IP address for the purpose of rate limiting API usage. This is not stored long-term and is not linked to any personal profile. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Free-tier users are limited to 1 analysis per day per IP address. Paid tiers receive higher limits as described on the Pricing page.

We do not guarantee continuous availability of the Service. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, infrastructure issues, or third-party API outages. We are not liable for losses resulting from service unavailability.

If you are a consumer based in the United Kingdom or European Union, you have the right to cancel a paid subscription within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason (the 'cooling-off period').

However, by completing a subscription purchase you expressly consent to the Service beginning immediately. If you exercise your right to cancel within the 14-day period after the Service has commenced, you may be charged a pro-rata amount for the portion of service already delivered.

To cancel within the cooling-off period, contact us using the details in Section 10. Cancellations outside this period take effect at the end of the current billing cycle and are managed through the Stripe customer portal.

The Service, its design, code, and branding are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to the decision descriptions you submit.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your submitted text solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
